*weeps* I need to hit the lottery!

Postby Penguine » Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:39 pm

Was sitting around today looking at what I want to do to my truck and realized that I need to hit the lottery! LOL.

Wants:
3" lift
Man tires
Line-X Liner
Skid Plates
Grille Guard
Shell
K&N Filter
Flowmaster Exhaust

the list goes on but these are the majors. Maybe I should take up a "Help Penguine Hook Up Hs Truck" fund.

Might as well go all out and at least get 6 inches.

Why stop there...

Because thats rediculous and impractical. We had a 01 chevy that we put 15 inches on and 44s and it was even too high for every day driving.

I get 14.8mpg now. Best I have seen is 15.6. I am sure that setup you put a pic of is something like 2mpg. Oh, and it is ugly IMHO.

Penguine if you do the gears when you lift it depending on what gears you have now you will keep your mpgs in check. I actually got better mpg in certain conditions with 36s than I did stock. Its all about ratio.

Don't feel bad, by the time I'm done with my Jeep I'll have about $3000 invested in just my axles.
