Question on 2008 Chev Silverado Crew Cab LTZ

Postby 2 tollers » Thu Dec 11, 2008 9:57 pm

I just picked this truck up and was advisded that to get at the jack which is hidden behind a rear seat that the seat does not come down. Basically it is a finger wiggle lossening of a nut to gradually take the jack out.

Since the owners manual does not have data and the dealer did not have any experience with this truck ---- does any one here work with a Chev dealership that would have information on an easier method?

Get a Jack-All and don't worry about using the OEM jack!

The rear seat back of crew cab chevy's do fold down. Simply pull a lever on the side of the seat back and it'll fold to access the jack and to make a flat/level place to haul extra stuff inside.

wkw you are sure one funny guy. I have a jack-all and still there are times you need to use the OEM jack. The dealer could not answer the question and neither could you.

Apex -- Thanks for answering the question.
