cd player and tailgate

my cd player quit in my 2002 gmc sierra and i broke the latch onm the tail gate

i found a sony explod for real cheap is this a good head unit

but with the tailgate it was prolly -2 out side and i went to open the tailgate and snap the latch broke how much do you think it would cost to get a new latch installed or could i do it myself

You should be able to do it yourself not a whole lot to it. Two rods hook into it.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

i know a couple people with the sony xplode radios and they're not bad.

If you find out a parts store wants a crazy amount for a new handle find a junk yard and scavenge one.

i just bought the radio it sounds all right better than my stock radio pitting all the rest of the speakers amp subs ect in tonight

as for the tailgate thing we got one real cheap and installed it
