Hunting in dominican republic?

Im going there st the end of may and was wondering if you can hunt over there?

I think you would be shot on sight for having a gun!

Stay in the resort!!!

The DR is a beautiful and very very poor country. Did I mention anything about stating in the resort?

My parents went to the Dominican a few times. They really liked it and had no trouble outside the resort. Just don't do anything you wouldn't do here.

I have a feeling if there were any hunting opportunites my dad would have sniffed them out.

Go fishing. And smoke cigars. Have a nice time.

Yeah my wife said to just stay at the resort. I did some googling and everything says that hunting was outlawed in 2009.

I guess I don't know how things might have changed since the earthquake. Maybe staying in the resort is best these days.

When my parents went they had way more fun out and about but they are like that, wanting more than a beach and a lounge chair.
