Guys, figured a trip like this was only a pipe dream and I'd only watch them on TV But..... Just found out that my wifes niece's husband has just purchased a home with a car for use while their in the town of Cordoba. They said we could use it anytime we wanted to. It's my thought that just maybe we would use it during the waterfowl season and find a spot or guide service within a short drive and get in that hunt of a lifetime. Does anyone know anything about the area and if that would work out?????????
Just starting to gather some info. All I know at this point is ....it's supposed to be good. :hammer: Just need to find out where the area where all the duck hunting is"hot" and how far would I have to travel to get to it
Argentina, July 2010. Vetted several new hunting operations, logistical options, Buenos Aires restaurants, tours and hotels; hosted a group of clients that scored 2,047 ducks in 4 fun-filled days. Depending on the package, it's usually cheaper than most folks think.
A few 2010 Argentina duck hunting photos:
One duck
Two ducks
Three ducks
Raining ducks
Red shovelers
Ducks laid out
Ducks piled up
Ducks in less than an hour
Ducks strapped
Ducks rolled
Ducks sauteed
Duck of a lifetime - albino (amelanistic) rosybill drake
To add a little more to Ramsey's comment. i just spent nearly three weeks down there searching and confirming new outfitters and hunting opportunities. Some never made the cut and were a waste of time, but we at GetDucks value our clients and only want the best. This way we can know what is offered and maintain our high standards of outfitting traveling hunters. I feel we have uncovered two new and great opportunities that we will build on for our destinations. I will certainly revist these areas next season.
