as a huge twins fan I was stunned when I heard the news.
its sad to loose such a great ball player.
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.

Kirby was the MAN!! I remember watching him belt that tenth inning homer against the Braves and knowing it was over. He will be greatly missed!

better yet, how about the ball he caught at the glass wall in that same series? what a great fella, hate to see him go so young...

That was awesome! I loved when he told everyone they were going to win game six. When they did, you knew it was over.

Growning up my dad and i were white sox fans but seem like we where always rootin for the twinkies, Oh the memories....
