Maybe admin2 can lend the "hammer" to NASCAR officials to use on DJ, his actions very well could have eliminated Harvick's and his own chances of being in the chase not to mention Newman is gonna have to work alot harder in the last 2 races to keep his top 10 position. I lost alot of respect for DJ last night. But thats racin I guess!! Is it just me, or is there WAY more commercials on NBC/TNT than there is on FOX? I say keep it on FOX when this current t.v. contract is up. Jeff Hammond, Larry Mac and DW, can't beat that trio! "Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, Lets Go Racin' Boys!!"

I think it's pretty much a done deal now... not very smart!

I guess some people fail to see the big picture... it's very childish sandbox-type activity if you as me. You bite me, I bite you back, and now everyone is S-O-L.

Two and a wake up... Friday is going to be a long day. 7 hour drive right to the busch race. I can only guess that there is going to be some beatin-n-bangin going on Saturday night. I will make sure I take a pic of Kurt's car when it gets bent all to hell. Then again my blurry cam acts funny at night. So maybe not.

Just got back. Great weekend except for one stupid goober in the 97.
We went to eat at Bailey's Friday while waiting to check in to the motel.
I over heard a few guys at the bar that were at the truck race Thursday.
Thay said turn 4 was the place to sit. So it being a Busch race, you can pretty much sit where you want. I picked turn four about 15 rows up. Those guys at the bar were right. two cars backed into the wall during busch and cup qualifying. Truex's wreak was something else. I was watching the cars going down the front stretch, when I saw it start out of the corner of my eye. Next thing I know I was looking at the big 8 on the roof instead of the side of the door.

I have never heard so many people say "holy ****" at the same time. The sparks were incredible. I have been to a lot of races, and I have seen a lot of wrecks, but nothing like that. Live anyway.

We were watching the replay on the Jumbo Nextel vision thing, and I was thinking wow, I can't believe I just watched that. The thing I love about Richmond is that you are right on the track. They only have about a 5 foot area roped off from the wall to where you can walk. So the cars going past, I would say, are less than 20 feet from you. So I am guessing that everybody walking down in turn 3 to go take a leak, just went and tossed out there shorts when they got to the restroom after that was over.

Nickelback played a concert before the cup race and they kicked azz.
So the only downside was the goof ball winning the race, then again everybody booing him was nice to hear.

MM77, the American Chopper guys (OCC) had a souvenir trailer there.
I don't know if you watch the show, but they had the "I Robot" bike on display (behind glass). That this was awesome on the show but when you can see it up close, it is unreal. I would suggest taking a look at it if you can. Thats all for now. I will try and get a few pics up soon.

Thanks and don't call me snuggles. Jerk.

You know I am kidding. Make sure you know the words to our national anthem. Cuz If you don't sing along...you are lookin at a whoopin. OK not really. Any the sound you hear from the jets are called a "fly-by" this is what happends when you have an "Air Force."

Have a great time MM...I am going to find a field in Canada to pee in.

Dover....WOW!!!! What more can I say. It was everything I expected and more. Ya'll were right, when they took the green flag for the first time I did get shivers down my spine and goosebumps on my arms. Our tix wound up bieng in turn four 5 rows up. We got to the track at 6 in the morning and did some tailgating with some guys from Jersey that were parked next to us. My brother ordered us some hospitality passes that included free Budweiser( ) and a tour of the track. Too cool. I didn't rent a scanner but listened to most of the race broadcast on MRN, got an AM/FM radio headset thingy at Wal-Mart for 11 bucks. I'm definately hooked now and will be going to a race every year now for sure! Wish I lived closer to "NASCAR nation" so it would be a little easier on the bank account but I'm still in awe right now, so I don't care about the money. An added bonus, all of Kurt's gear was half price . I'm already looking forward to next year. I'm gonna try to stop at Wal-Mart tomorrow on the way to Cabelas and put some of the pics I took on CD so I can post them up here later in the day.

GREAT! Glad to hear you had a good time. I killed a boatload of your geese while you were goofing off at the track. I will call that a fair trade off.

There's a reason it's called huntin' and fishin' instead of killin' and catchin'
