NBA MVP

Postby choc24/7 » Thu May 08, 2008 11:28 am

I was just curious since i disagree completely with the outcome. Kobe is the best player in the NBA i just don't think he is MVP. I think it should have been Chris Paul without a boubt. Without him they may win 15 games at the most. Just curious how ya'll think.

Don't know a thing about basketball, but have been watching lately due to NO's being in the playoffs. All I can say is Chris Paul is pretty good.

Wrong! Nobody said they hated the sport of basketball. I love college basketball, played all through high school, AAU, etc, but I can't stand the NBA. It has nothing to do with the sport, just the players and their attitudes.

Soooo, why comment?

I think Chris Paul is a great player, but the other players around him have really been playing well in the playoffs! I mean David West is playing like a mad man. I think both Kobe and Chris Paul deserve MVP, but this is Kobes first and im sure Paul will have a couple under his belt in the years to come!

gota love this game

you can find great players all over the leagues.
But MVP = "most valuable player" the key word being "valuble"
I dont care what city he goes to when Kobe's in town, he fills every seat in the house. Thats pretty dang valuable.

if you were to take kobe and chris paul away from their teams, which team would have been better in the regular season? it doesnt matter what kobe has done in the playoffs, seeing how the MVP is for the regular season. paul can score 25 points without having to take 30 shots like kobe seems to do every game, paul should have won the award hands down. filling the seats in the arena doesnt make your team win

How about Rajon Rondo? That guy is the catalyst for the Celts. Ray Allen has come out and said that RR makes that team run. I know its a long shot, but hey...Steve Nash has gotten it twice.
