you're right. but if there's one thing about baseball, it's that anything can happen. any team can beat any team on any given day. If you think about it, how long has it been since the number 1 seed has won a College World Series. they said it on air the other day but i cant remember. it was like 7 years or something. But you dont see that so much with other sports like football for example.

and playing the odds..... LSU played the odds last night by intentionally walking Fedrov who's batting over .400 to get to that catcher that has been struggling and WHAM! game over. :hammer:

I like UNC beating Fresno twice. even though Fresno will have rested arms, UNC easily has the pitching to get through-and win-2 games with good arms on the bump.

Those dadgum hanging breaking balls will get ya every time, I couldn't believe it, that kids hadn't had a hit in 13 at bat with runners in scoring position. I wouldn't have minded a hit but a grand slam man what a heart breaker. O well we will come back just as strong next year. But got to stick with SEC, time to jump on the Georgia bandwagon.

Yup I'll be a GA fan if Carolina doesn't get through. Got to pull for those boys from the South regardless of who your favorite team is.

Eaten a few of them in my day. Fresno has a deep pitching staff - lots of guys but as someone said earlier any team can beat any other team on any given day. One hit - one call can turn the entire game around. Ya have to love baseball!

Yes, it was a great run of baseball for the Bulldogs. They had more home runs than anyone else in the CWS this year. Just shows that a team will win out when they get the hits. Great CWS!!!!
