Women's Waders?

Postby KAmallard » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:14 pm

Hello ladies, I to am not a perv. It just feels funny posting in here.

My girlfriend is looking for a good WARM pair of waders. She usually quits going with me in the middle of December, because it gets too cold for her 3mm ones. (Little Kids)
I've got columbia quads, 5mm 1600 gram, and would like to find something similar for her. She wears a mens size 6, very small frame. Any suggestions, what are you guys wearing? She's interested in the "Grand Prairie" waders from Macks. Any personal reviews would be great. Thanks,

Man me too,
I hate it, I've looked, she's looked, we trained the dog to look. Nothing. She loves to go. She shot her first hooded merganser last year. I'm going to take her down to Macks next weekend and hopefully find a warm pair that fits.

Waders

Postby mallardhen70 » Thu Dec 06, 2007 2:42 pm

KA - I am shopping for waders too. I borrowed a pair from a friend, size 6. She got them from Cabela's. Pretty thick on the neoprene. I'm from the Tulsa, OK area so it's not too cold here yet so I was really warm in them in November. Had to shed my coat. I would look into buying them because I liked the way they fit. They also seemed to loosen up the more I moved around in them too.

Lots of luck!!

Postby HuntinGrl » Sun Dec 09, 2007 2:00 am

I just bought some from cabelas.com that are 5mm for women and they fit awesome, the shoulder straps dont fall down at all and the pouch in front holds some shells which is nice. It is Item # xh-830404.
