Scouting

Postby one ducky lady » Sun Aug 31, 2008 7:21 pm

I went scouting very early Saturday morning for geese... and this is all I found. For those of you who have seen my last few posts you are aware that this made me a VERY happy camper :] Definitely saw more turkeys than geese.

Quality isn't great, they're from my phone

Nice! You're going to fall turkey hunt then? Shotgun or bow?

I busted a group of turkeys when I was out scouting the marsh last Saturday. Then I was up at my grandparent's farm and a hen with some half-pint turkeys was walking right up the neighbor's driveway. They were fun to watch.

Yowza!

We have tons of turkeys at the river five miles from our house, but the whole river is a state and county park so we can't have any of them. The whole thing is teeming with fat, healthy wildlife. Yum...
