Service on Christmas if it's not Sunday?

Postby HuntingWife » Wed Dec 28, 2005 11:28 am

Just out of curiosity... does your Church have a Christmas service on December 25 if it doesn't fall on a Sunday? As a Catholic, we always went to Church, either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, even if it wasn't a Sunday. The Methodist Church my husband has attended all his life always has communion on Christmas Eve but no service on Christmas Day unless it falls on a Sunday. What does your Church do?
In God we trust, all others must show ID.

:withstupid: Does'nt matter what day it falls on we still have our Christmas service on Christmas day.
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.

Our churh always has a cristmas eve service, and a christmas service if it falls on Sunday (Don't quote me on that). We are usaually to busy running to different christmas's my parents, mother-in-law, and father-in-law's, and our house that we don't get much of a chance to go to church on christmas day.
Any day in the outdoor's is better than at work

midnight mass

Postby gracenjohn » Sun Jan 01, 2006 12:28 am

Episcopal

we have done midnight mass since we were married (thanks to mama) and a 10am only service the next morning. We just started going to a church that does a manger service in one of the parishoner's barns at 4pm on Christmas eve. Pretty cool, just watch where you step.
thanks be to God

The group ended up with 420 birds.
