there are many who misquote the bible....an example being "spare the rod and spoil the child." i thought for years that the bible actually said that.

what the bible actually says is: "he who spareth the rod hatith the child".

i have seen it said many times that ..."God will never give you a burden larger than you can bear. " ........I tell you now that it is a LIE.....God will give you burdens larger than you can bear but God will never give you a burden larger than HE can bear. That is why we have prayer. God uses burdens to get his children to bring it to him in prayer.

can we even fathom to think what it took for God to send his son to die for our sins? compared to that all of our burdens seem small and insignifcant. JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. :thumbsup:
