" So turn around you're not too far. To back away be who you are. To change your path go another way. It's not too late you can be saved "

Jeremiah 10:6-8

6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

My Bible Chapter description states this, " Great disparity between GOD and idols." Do we have that in our lives like the Israelites did? Jeremiah tell the house of Israel, " Lean not the way of the heathen. Your custom of the people are vain." We need not to have sinful imitations.

Jeremiah tells the people of Israel that they should consider the impotence of the false gods and the emptiness of their false religions. He tells them that the ought to worship the omnipotent LORD and Kings of the nations. He tells them the name of GOD, that He is great and he reveals GOD's character and reputation. There is none like unto thee. This verse is about GOD's greatness.

Why do we doubt this from time to time in our lives. Why do we think it is all us and not GOD working His plan for our lives? Do we fear GOD? Fear belongs to GOD and it is His due. It our duty to fear and keep GODs commandments. There is no one as wise as GOD, we may think so of ourselves, but we are far from Him. The nations and their kingdoms get their knowledge, wisdom and power from GOD. Not man!

We as men and women, are brutish and foolish in knowledge, understanding and wisdom with our idols and fleshly desires in comparison to GOD. We put our trust, our faith, our stock, our knowledge in idols, false religions and the doctrine of vanities. This is foolish and will never last, give us peace or give us comfort. GOD is the peace giver and nothing we can worship on this earth will ever be anything other than foolishness. We need to believe in GOD, not man, popes, bishops, pastors, gov't, self help, false prophets, teachers of vain beliefs, science, Hollywood and famous people. GOD and GOD alone. " O LORD, thou art Great! "

" I can push back the mountains, can stand on the waves. I can see through the darkness, I'll hold up the flame. Take me to the ocean I wanna go deeper. I'm not afraid no, I'm a believer."
