saying goodbye

Postby gracenjohn » Mon Jul 28, 2008 10:22 am

Sadie has finally won her battle with cancer. She goes to the vet tonight with me, wife, and daughter. Rough days ahead, but some fantastic ones were had.

So she's being put down? You confused me a little bit with the first sentence. If she is sorry to hear about it. It's never fun to lose a dog.

put to sleep

Postby gracenjohn » Tue Jul 29, 2008 9:16 am

Yeah, she was put to sleep yesterday. Many tears were shed by all. Our 10 year old daughter is an only child and considered Sadie her older sister. I'll be getting the ashes back and she'll go hunting with me once again this coming season.

My condolences John. A tough event to have happen to a family.

Sorry for your loss. I fear the day that my dog dies. I'm sure the duck hunting is much better where she is.
