From big game to target practice to 3d shoots

Hey guys im SLOWLY getting into archery and was wondering. The sights they have lets say 4 pins like this one. ... id=0033062

Ok the very top pin to you point it for targets farther away than the bottom pin? And roughly what number pin for what distance? Like the very top pin for 35 yrds or what? Sounds stuiped to some of you guys but i dont know to much about archery so....

I set my top pin for twenty yards, my second pin for thirty and my third pin for 40.

Set your top pin for 20, then set your second to top pin to 30 and so on. If you are shooting high move your pin high, if you are shooting left move your sight to the left. Always move towards your mistake. Start out at 10 then go to 20. Top pin is always your close pin.
