Postby Natural Camo Face Paint » Sat Jun 23, 2012 10:31 pm

I was practicing with my bow and noticed the wooden grip all loose dont know if any one else has had the same problem with thier Mathews bow? How do you tighten it up glue or is thier a screw to tighten it ?

It is just glued on.. Pop it off carefully and put some more glue on it.. Better yet, get the Focus grip made by Mathews and replace the wood one with that.. WOW what a huge difference it makes!!!

Yep, gotta glue them on. Whenever someone has one come off, I use Gorilla Glue. Make sure you want it on there though because after that it's not coming off in one piece.

As opposed to? I've owned 5 Mathews bows and I never had a single issue with any of them. I can see where ya can get an issue with any bow manufacturer, but in my experience they have been a good quality bow

Take your old lady's hair dryer and blast the grip to get it off the rest of the way. Mine never came loose but it poped right off when I put a different grip on my outback.

If you break it some how PM me, I've got one laying around I might be able to dig up.

I agree! I'm on my 4th Mathews and I have yet to have an issue.. Average quality because the grip is loose? I don't see how thy makes average quality but to each his own I guess!
