Looking at crossbows under $400 any suggestions.

For that price your basically looking at a Barnet on sale at Dunhams or Dicks. I no longer shoot compound crossbows and my suggestion would be to save up a bit more and pick up an Excalibur in the $500 to $600 range. It will last you a lifetime as compared to the compounds in my experience.

It is funny you say that after more research strongly leaning toward the Excalibur Axiom. I have 5 kids to outfit so price is a big deal. However you start comparing the axiom makes most sense
