wrist sling

Postby fowl_wishes » Mon May 12, 2008 9:19 pm

Got bored tonite and decided to to something useful. I had the piddly lil wrist sling that came with my Lore stabilizer. But i never really liked it because it was so narrow. So i decided to make one of my own out of some scrap paracord i had laying around

. What do ya think? Keep in mind this is the first wrist sling i have ever made. Sorry for the bad pics. Was in a hurry. Might try to get better pics later.

They might get my guns, but they'll get the bullets first !

Nice, I like the look of that.

Mine is just a nylon strap with a camo sleeve over top that is extemely soft.

The one that came with my stabilizer was really puny and stiff. Was not very comfortable.

I have seen some of the soft ones like you are talking ab out. My only problem with them is that they were all too flexible. And i like to keep my sling stiff so that it does not cause and wrist torque if it falls downon my wrist.

With the stiff ones (like the one i made) it is set up to sit a lil above my hand so there is no contact unless i want there to be.

Not bad at all. I tried to braid a lanyard and gave up an hour in to it. Good Job.

I see you shoot diamond, Good choice.
