Was it me or did the fixed blades all turn out better than the mechanicals?

I used to shoot the innerlocs now a two blade.

I liked that test alot better than all the companies tests they do for their own broadheads. Every company skews the results, but this guy didn't. That being said, it proved what we all know. That fixed blades are tougher than expandables, but we won't be hunting steel barrels (who know's if Obama gets in there might be a barrel season).

Toughness is a great feature. If you hit bone or something you're going to need that toughness. BUT for me it comes down to arrow flight and damage. As far as arrow flight there is no contest. expandables are just better. As far as damage I've shot a lot of broadheads and the expandables just do it for me. They perform as good if not better than fixed IMO.
But since I like longer shots, arrow flight is my number one. and thats what it all comes down to. what you need it for. My dad has bow hunted his whole life and i doubt he's made a shot longer than 20 yds. he likes the original fixed three blades. and they work great for him.
