I imagine hogs are alot thicker skinned than your average whitetail or muley. I would use a fix blade broadhead. I haved used Slick Tricks for awhile now and love em.

I'm sure a Rocket Steelhead would do the trick. A guy at a local proshop used them on his hunt in Africa in the 125 gr. version and took Impala's and the sort. It's an expandable, but I'd still like a fixed blade. Muzzy is where it's at, I never had a problem with them tuning when I shot them and I think the MX-3's and 4's are even better. I promise Muzzy's are the toughest broadhead you'll use. When I missed when I first started shooting a head went into and embedded itself in my grandad's steel trailer. I replaced the tip and blades and it was good to go.

i've used 100 grain muzzys, 125 grain thunderheads, and 100 grain hell razors. all of em have put down hogs. the biggest one to date was 235 pounds. me and my buddy each shot him at the same time. he didnt take a step. i'd be careful usin expensive broadheads, and those expandables. hogs have that thick shield, and if you dont get through it, you'll never find the hog or the arrow

Ya, I eye balled the G5's for quite awhile. I really liked the SMG I shot. A heck of alot more durable than standard judo points.

I'm not a huge fan of their stuff. I bought some Black Mamba expandables from them and shot them into my foam target. Ripped all three blades right off. I won't buy those again. Maybe I got a dud, but it left a black eye for me. The rest of their stuff might be okay, but as for me I'll stick to Muzzy's when I need a fixed blade.
