Newbie bow suggestion

Postby fowlhunter » Thu Apr 16, 2009 6:35 am

I'm wanting to get a bow and beings I've never owned a bow I was looking for some advise. The only bow shop nearby doesnt have any lefties, so test running them is kinda out of the ?. I'm wanting to get everything I need for $500-600. The pse brute and diamond rock have caught my eye, but I really dont know where to start.

Those two are good. Also look at the Parker Trail Blazer and the Fred Bear Lights Out. The Trail Blazer comes as a package deal for 429 and the Lights Out comes bare bow for 249.

My advice to you is to find one that shoots well for you. Dont look at the name! The bows today are very nice but you shouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg on them. I have alot of them and the one I have liked the most was from Bow Tec. It was quiet, smooth and no hand shock. I still would not have paid 700$ for it. Remember that money will not make your bow any better or worse than the other guys. They all shoot arrows.
