Wondering how you guys carry your side arms while packing. I have a 4" taurus .44mag, I used to be able to slip the paddle holster in the waist belt of my backpacking pack, but I just got a new pack and this will no longer be feasible. I'm thinking a drop thigh holster would be a pretty comfortable way to carry while wearing a pack. I have only found one such holster that would fit:

Do any of you have revolver drop thigh holsters or reccomendations? If not, how do you carry your sidearm while wearing a pack?

Thanks

I went out and bought a military mole pack and it has molle straps on the waist strap next to your thighs. So I bought a Molle holster too and put it on the Molle straps on my thigh. Works pretty well.

Nice, I have an 4" XD40 too, so this should make a good multi-use holster.

Thanks!
I don't know if it will fit the revolver or not. Might be worth a shot though. I'd measure the top of the frame to the bottom of the trigger guard to make sure they're close. My XD barely fits in the one I got. It was real tight at first but it's loosened up since I bought it.
