Gun Value Question

Postby Slack Tide » Sun Feb 20, 2011 9:01 am

Hi all,
Is there a good site where I can find out the value of some guns? I was tinkering around and not having much luck.
I have a German Broomhandle Mauser in excellent condition with the wooden holster/but stock

the best place to find real time gun values I had found was THE GUN LIST. it is all guns for sale ..ususally on popular models there would be a dozen or so for sale and you get an idea what the value would be. they list condition usually.

I bought a few gun values books and they are outdated like crazy... I have been a browning BSS collector for a while and I watch their prices... the books would value a gun at maybe $700 for VG, but youd NEVER find one for sale for less than $1200!!!!!!

the books value was useless!!!

gun broker would be anothe rplace...if you could look at the GUN LIST for a few months youd see guns that moved...and know what they were selling for..

good luck
condition is a lot with guns and collectors!!

the tool
