I shoot a .30-06, but have shot my dad's Winchester 7mm mag. That thing's got some kick.

I have shot a .50 cal. Desert Eagle. WOW! When you open the case there is a picture of a guy shooting it and a 2 foot fireball shooting out the end. I thought it was fake.... I was wrong. Holy crap what a mule.

The wife went out this weekend and shot the 500 S&W. That is a revolver so the grip doesn't need to be as big as the semi-auto Desert Eagle and she said it was faily easy to shoot with the exception of a very long barrel.
Input that enables becomes thoughts that smother.

I shot a .50BMG, felt like a 20ga. due to the excellent muzzle-brake...but worse rifle, a .416 rigby(sp?) felt like I got kicked by a mule wearing work boots, I mean, I forgot my damn name for a minute and didn't care about anything other than getting away from that rifle. I think it was a ruger number one. If I were hunting Lions, I'll take my chances with a Ka-Bar rather than shooting that thing.

Like shocktroop I've fired a .50 BMG and it wasn't bad at all considering it was a comp gun with a good brake on the end. A hot/heavy cast bullet 45/70 out of an NEF was not my cup of tea, think the owner got off on the abuse since he would sit there and just fire round after round thru it, guy was nuts in my book. First shot with a 444 Marlin was an eye opener but controlable and usable after a few rounds.
First it rained, then it blew, then it frizz, then it snew --- from an oldtimers gunning boat ~~ He understood what it's about!

Maybe not necessarilly the largest I have shot, but the M-249 is nifty. I missed my chance to fire the M2 50 Cal and the Mark 49 Grenade Launcher though :pissed:

I think the biggest ive shot is the 30-06. But my dads shot a 50 cal. machine gun before (hes navy). I think it was the M2, hes also shot an M-16 and has seen the CWIS fired when he was on his ship. That would be cool.

The 454 C is the most handgun I have ever shot. Shot some 50 cal. machine guns but that's not the same. Have shot a lot of 300 Wetherby Mag., that would be the biggest in a hunting rifle, but I didn't personally think it was all that compared to shooting 3" 1 1/4" 12 ga. slugs for a bench. Last year I shoot some of those new deer hammers Remiginton came out with and I think they had about the most recoil I can remember.
More ammo! I need to shoot something!
