If you like the AK74 persuasion and aren't against another caliber - check out the 5.45x39 model

Had a romanian 74 in that caliber; good accuracy and fun / CHEAP to shoot. Ordered 2,000 of wolf brand ammo for much less than 5.56 at the time

i can pick one up in the 5.45 but im not a fan of the ammo you can get in that caliber most of it being old surplus and all steel casings. just really wanted one in 5.56 but might have to get the 5.45 or a new AR 15

I had a 5.45x39 AK74 and I have a witness who can verify that many prairie dogs died with that thing (open / iron sights) from 100+ yards... out to a verified 240 yards. Just sayin' - it was a fun rifle, with the wire under folder stock, it fit in between the seat and console of my GMC Denali and made a good 'truck gun'.
