Tikas are great guns. I would buy a Savage or a Ruger and provide an American a job.
The .270 is the best deer caliber ever invented. The 130 grn bullet is absolutely devastating on white tail. I have killed a big pile fo them with that combination.
.30-06 is another good one, but anything it can do on deer a .270 can do, and a little better at longer ranges.
it always comes down to shot placement.
