Scope fpr M-4??

Postby Michigan » Fri Sep 22, 2006 7:40 am

I'm getting an M-4 and will be looking for a scope for it. I might try it on deer but I'll mainly be using it for traget practice. Any suggestions?

Depends if you want 1X or 4x power. When I had my AR, I was really leaning toward the ACOG. 4X power in a small, compact, tough package.

If you want a nonmagnified optic, cant go wrong with the Aimpoint or EOtech. Both excellent electronic sights. If you want a little magnification, any scope made by a reputable company up to about a 2x-7x should work. On mine, I use a Burris Fullfield 3x-9x, but I use mine mainly for hunting at close to moderate ranges and prefer the 9x. Good luck.
