I see the purpose....it definately isn't for true shotgunning, but getting the most out of slug hunting setups. It's not a big deal for those of us in states that allow rifle hunting, but for those in shotgun only deer hunting states, it's a BIG deal. Evidently, their shots are getting longer, or the need to be able to reach across fields, etc. is getting bigger, and why not develop a shotgun shell SPECIFICALLY for getting the most range from a slug? Makes sense to me. I don't need one, but it would be a cool barrel to add to my handi rifle....just to see what it does to hogs OR deer. :eek:
Here's a thought: Let the ducks work and decoy.

who will be the first to market a 3 1/2" turkey load? i wish i had enuf resources to go commercial!!
