i am looking into getting a savage sporter bolt action (not sure of the exact model number) in .17 cal. it has the new accutriger which i love and runs from $200-260 from what i have seen.

there are a lot of manufacturers makign them in a VERY wide price range. i have seen them from $150 all the way up to $600 depending on maker. try going to the manufacturers' websites.

try: CZ-USA, ruger, marlin, winchester, remington, savage, etc. most all of the major makers have a 17hmr or 17m2
Shoot'em close. Less to pick.

They might get my guns, but they'll get the bullets first !

Man, it really depends what 17 you want. HMR, HMR2, Remington, PPC, Fireball, Ackley Hornet, 17-222, 17-223 and then some...there are a bunch of 17 cals out there.

Which one are you looking for?
