A lot times when I'm doing load development at 100 yards that shoot lights out, it's a different story at 300 and 400 yards. Not so with .25-06 today. This morning at first light I finished load development at 100 yards with that load shooting under 1/2". Went home and loaded 5 shells and shot them at 300. I'm happy with 1 1/2"- 3 shot group at 300.

Loved my 25-06 but really never shot it other than at the range. Now I am looking at long range shooting again and have a rifle picked out. Just waiting for the right time (wife not watching the bank account LOL) and I will pick one up. It is very satisfying to poke those little groups at long distances
