Thoughts on the Marlin 1895 Cowboy model?

Postby Plain Person » Sun Jan 20, 2008 11:14 am

I've been doing some research on a big bore hunting rifle. Decided to stick with the .45/70 and right before settling on the 1895, I came across the Cowboy (CB) model. It sure handles nice and I like the longer barrel. It costs a little more, but not enough to break the bank.

Anyone have any thoughts on this rifle? Thanks.
