357/38 it is. More than likely I will end up with a GP100

Seeing as you switched from an auto(I have the XD in 40, plus you get enough goodies with it to start) to a revolver-I'd say go for the Ruger, they make a heck of a revolver...I still use my uncles older Security Six in 38/357 that he used to carry. I only wish it had adjustable sights so I don't have to KY windage it. Good luck in yor search.

Springfield just came out with a new product, the XD(m). It's a 9mm holds 19 + 1.

38/.357

I've put around 200-250 rounds through it thus far and can honestly say my accuracy is coming along nicely. I'm putting all 6 in a nice tight group at 50 ft.

are you going to go "all the way" and put the CT lazer sights on that baby , for another $250 ??

I just got my CT's and will be going out to the range tomarrow to see what wadcutters,158 lswc, 158lswchp, 125 jhp +P and 357 mag 125's will do,in my Mod 19, now that these old eyes can see again !!

Hope you have fun with the 38/357 combo !!

No, I've been doing some research and will probably be performing a trigger job on it here in the near future. I am considering putting a scope on it but I need to find a way that I can maintain the open sights as well.
