You'll definitely have to order some ammo for that guy and it doesn't look like many online stores carry it either.

One thing I always consider when buying a new gun is, "do I plan to re-load for this round" and if I don't plan to reload, "how locally available is the ammo for this round."

Some of those Magnum rounds are too trendy. Once the trend is gone, then the rounds are harder to find.

I might consider reloading for that round.
It's a fact that 70 percent of the people who purchase heavier tackle do so with the categorical I just lost a huge snook! Einstein Hairdo. The other 30 percent have either Tarpon Fever or are sporting a hand cramped into a claw from a deepwater grouper.

this is a oldie but goodie...........358 cal.

150gr to 2688fps
200gr @ 2680 fac 59gr imr 4895
250gr @ 2433 fac 55.6 gr imr4895

note: due to the magazine length of some rifles, 250gr bullets or larger, must be set deeply into the case to function through the magazine.

Powders to look at: Imr 3031,4064,4895 and 4320.

Good hunting.
