Marlin xl7?

Postby WHISKEYTRAIN » Thu Jan 29, 2009 10:09 pm

Hey guys, I am looking for my first deer rifle and came across the marlin xl7. I have heard great reviews and was just wondering what you guys thought. I will be hunting mainly in FL and am thinking about getting the .270......any thoughts?

Thanks

I love Marlin Leveractions. I just read a review and they sound good. Winchester bases, pillar bedded, Savage style barrel nut. Probably a good gun. I would definately buy one. And pick up a 1895 levergun to go with it.

Saw a marlin bolt action last night when I bought my XLR .308

It looked VERY stout compared to the other big name guns out there. I would buy if I wanted a bolt action.
