Savage Model 110

Postby CallinForTheFall » Sun Jul 26, 2009 9:39 pm

I have a savage 30-06 model 110 an last yr up hunting i lost one of the stock bolts and was wondering if i could buy some or would have to go to a gunsmith an get it fixed. Also my second question is the factory stock that came on the gun is crap an is already starting to crack an i have a whole lot of guns an always keep them nice an clean but this is the first time i have ever had a stock crack like that on me. Would any of you know of any good replacement stocks for the model 110 an if so does it come with new stock bolts?
I should be a banker because im reall good at stackin the bills.

You might be able to find a replacement at a hardware store. I ran into the same problem when I switched the stocks on my Marlin, the new stock wasn't the exact same size as the old and one of the old bolts was too short. I ended up finding the correct thread and length at the hardware store.

As for stocks:

Look up Sharp Shooters Supply and ask for Fred. He can help you.
