Postby VT_Diver-Junkie » Sat Nov 14, 2009 3:52 pm

Would it be possible for someone to capture the sounds of a flock of goldeneyes flying making the famous whislting? I want to show it to people so they understand what i hear when theres a flock of them flying
Theres nothing like frostbite and gunpowder in the air!!!!

Well if you wait until next spring when the goldies come back to the pond .i might be able to record them on my digital recorder if they make any whistling sounds

We get a lot of goldeneyes here. They should be pilling up around x-mas or so. I will see if I can't get something. I don't have a digital sound recorder, but I can film them on my digital camera. Shoot me your email address and I can get it to you when I get it.
Light travels faster than sound. That’s why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
