GOPRO v.s. I-KAM

Postby Gmas101 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 12:21 am

I want to start recording my duck hunts. I was thing about the gopro which I know records good videos but don't want something hanging from my head while I shoot. I like the I-cam because they feel just like wearing sunglasses but I'm not too sure about the quality of the video. What do you guys think? Or is there a better product out there that I can use to shoot my hunts? Thanx for your help.

I dont know which one is better but Gander has I-Kams on sale for 49.95. At that price you can take a chance and if they don't work you are not out a lot of money. Im going to give em a shot..........

I have never seen an IKam at that price but if that was correct that was a steal!

Both are great cameras but clearly depends on what and how you want to film. I have the IKam and the quality is surprisingly good. I do notice how much I move my eyes around to see without moving my head now but if your looking to capture everything they are great. If you want to experiment with different camera views either with a tripod or other mount the goPro is the way to go. Think you just need to decide what it is you really want to capture. Good luck!

Check out the shot kam. It mounts to the bottom of your barrel. I had a chance to use one last year on few hunts. The guy that invented them lives down here by me.
