upland photography and editing

Postby znewc14 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 1:01 pm

Hey everybody,
I'm trying to get into hunting upland birds with a camera instead of a gun. Do you guys have any tips on how to get good shots of birds like chukar and pheasants? They seem to be hard to find when I go looking. Should I go early morning or late afternoon?

Then also, I have some hunting videos that I have sitting around on my desktop. Are there any good free video editing programs for slowing footage down? Or do I need to man up and purchase one?
Then on top of that, what editing software do you recommend?

Thanks,
Nuke
