Well, its not exactly outdoors, yet, but since now is a little down time, I thought I would take some pictures of this winter's re-stocking. Can't find my tripod right now, so this will have to do.

Sometimes when they look crappy they still catch fish! I have lots of experience tying bad ones. As soon as the ice is gone, those little copper johns just kills the 'gills.

the copper john series are my favorite nymphs for bow fishing up here. Try this recipe:

size 8 wooly bugger hook
tail: 2 hen patch feathers splayed (as crawfish claws)
Underbody lead wire
Body: brown dubbing
hackel: brown soft hackle
shell back: pheasant tail

$$$ for panfish and smallies fish under a small popper
