Yea i would agree they are cool but they sure are stupid. The dumb thing swam in my decoys all day and at times was not farther than 3 feet from the blind with me looking at and trying to scare it up. Also, it swam around and pecked at me decoys. O well i was glad to have it around because it passes the time and gave me something to look at.

I thought that first picture was one of mine I took a couple weeks ago. I had two swimming around in my decoys all morning. They drove the dog nuts. A couple times they dove and popped up less than 10 yards from the blind. Definitely some good steadiness training.

The Grebe defintaly made the hunt more enjoyable because i didnt kill any ducks. I was watching it dive under and come up several yeards way from where he went under, One time he came up with a minnow in his beak.

All those birds do is make my dog jumping....My dog things it is a cripple or something...and whines ...lol

they look pretty cool ill give em that. they take a beating in huntin season though, cuz they favor buffies wen on the wing, or theyll get caught up in a buffie bunch once in a while
