Want to get one, if they exist???

Postby cut_un » Sun Feb 08, 2009 9:19 pm

I'm not really into outdoor photography but and am wondering if any one makes a compact 35 mm camera that in the atomatic mode, I can take a decent pic of the hunts, memories, ducks on the water or geese in the air. I guess I'd want something with a telephoto lens and I'd like it to be ...in a camo finish or at least a drab finish. Does anyone make such an animal??? Thanks for any advice

Define compact...
I know nikon has made one with a camo cover in the past, but I wouldn't base the selection to highly on that priority. There are a number of things available to either cover a camera or hide it away.
If you wanted, you could even paint it carefully with hobby paint, considering that may void warranties.
I carry an olympus point and shoot most of the time, and my SLR when space allows or image quality is key. For snapshots though, many digital point and shoots will do you well. Just keep it in the pocket, and you'll be glad you didn't have camo when you drop it in the thick stuff!
