I like the landscape shot of a walk in the woods..could have used a bit more contrast +2 and some color saturation +1 and maybe cut back a bit on the exposure. -.3

The last macro shot was almost great but you should have switched the metering to center instead of pattern for more central clarity..could have used +2 contrast +1 color and +3 sharpness if you could overide the macro setting or used the programmode with the setting

Keep it up and show us some more pics experiment with some the manual additives that you can add onto a programmed mode instead of the modes on the dial as some of these modes cannot be altered and you get what the camera wants..not what it needs for a better pic.
Also turn on the histogram and it should show you the areas that need tweaking

I am trying to figure out how to post pics where they show up right away as opposed to having to click on a link...help?

I loaded my on photobucket and each pic had a url for diff things. i think there is like four of them, the last one is for forums and such right click and copy it. then either create a new topic on dhc or post a reply in an existing one and right click in the blank dialog box were you would normally type the info link will come up, then if you want to see it hit preview. then submit if you like it. i hoped that helped.
