no they are definalty ruddy ducks search baby ruddy ducks on google images trust me
Why not shoot all 3 shots, they make more shells everyday.

Now I am not sure anymore..anyways these two ducks were very near the group and in the same pic sequence.

They are goldeneye we get a ton of them in the desert southwest

Yes they are Goldies as I just checked with the local bird watching society

Rem figure out how to catch and tag a few of them. Those guys should be here about the end of November or first of December. I would love to see if any I kill are those ones :thumbsup:

When you do a search for baby ruddy duck on google and one of the first pics is mis labeled as a ruddy. That bill shape and plumage is a goldeneye, nothing close to a ruddy.

The bird santuary warden had mentioned to me they were goldies
