Middle Coast of Texas Duck Hunt

Postby GKO » Tue Dec 22, 2009 11:16 pm

I would like to offer a Duck Hunt to a Military Service Member on the Middle Texas Coast. I hunt Rockport Texas and the surrounding area. If you are a Member of the Military and you consider my offer worthy, please contact me via email at: keith@s3tg.com.

You will need to have a current license, a Shotgun and Steel Shot Shells of at least #3, I have a boat, Decoys and everything else.

Let me know? God Bless You All!

Thank You for the generous offer. Hopefully someone will take you up on it.. I was stationed in Ingleside when the base first opened and It is a hunter's and fishermens paradise. The folks on the Coastal bend are some of the nicest individuals I have been stationed around during my career.

Happy Holidays

Awesome offer! I have heard the duck hunting is great down there. I wish I i had seen this post a little sooner, I might have taken you up on that. I hope someone does and thank you for supporting the troops. God bless.

The Season has closed in Texas for 2009-2010, but I want to extend the invitation to take Service Men, able or disabled, on a Duck Hunt for the Coming Season. It is in the Middle Coast of Rockport and Port Aransas. I have access to Blinds for the Disabled as well a boat for the more adventurous. I am not a guide nor even a great Duck Hunter. Just a proud American wanting to return a favor and share what I have with those that let me sleep well at night.

I Pray every day for you and FOR YOU! You are why this Country is great!

God BLESS YOU ALL!

GKO, you're a gracious, humble, and generous person. I wish I lived even remotely close to you, I would certainly take you up on your offer, if for no other reason than just to meet you and thank you in person.

On behalf of about a million of my closest friends, thank you.

Hooah!

Home? Originally it was Ithaca, NY. But I haven't lived there in over 28 years. I've been in assignments all over the US.

I do a one week duck hunting vacation in Mathis, TX every year over the holidays. That's about 60 miles north of your area. Of course this year I didn't make it.

There something to be said about hunting ducks when it's 70 - 80 degrees out. :grooving:

Beats the heck out of below freezing temps. :crying:

If you ever find yourself in Mathis again, give me a heads up. Maybe we can do a Hunt or Fish or Hunt and fish?

You can count on it K.O. I "hoping" to be there next year over the new years holidays. I'll be sure and give you a holler if it actually happens.

I'll reciprocate, but the Mathis lake duck hunting isn't good. At least the beer's always cold when we're done though.
