I just wanted to put this out there for everyone who was in the armed services: thank you very much for being in the Military, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and giving us our freedom. you are the hero's that make the USA a great place, and I just wanted to thank you for it! :thumbsup:

Ummmm, doesn't "Army" count? :huh: There's more of us over here then there are Navy, Airforce or Marines.

I had some Marines working for me once. They use to tell me the only reaosn the Navy existed was to give the Marines a ride. :lol:

Those Marines were right :thumbsup:

I kinda like 29 years of giving rides to the green, along with Hot meals/Hot showers/AC and foriegn port visits with lots of cold beer and other perks :grooving: !! all this and the same paycheck... :biggrin:

Mike, were you ever on the Shrevport i spent 6 months on it back in 06 or 07

No, I was on Saipan 04-06..,. great ship then they decommed her. We had the 24 MEU onboard a few times.

yeah if i remember right i was on the 26th, at the time the shrevport was the oldest commissioned boat in the navy they decommissioned her when we got back. don't miss the ship life my feet were ment to be on dry land.
