Leavin in a couple days for some R&R from Afghanistan. Hoping to get a few hunts in for some quail and pheasant. I will post some picks for the rest of you stuck here in Afghanistan/Iraq when I get back. Can't wait Ill let you all know how it goes.

Good luck with the hunts. Where you headed to for your R&R?

All right, I only got to hunt three days. The first two I spent looking for quail. Unfortunatly the only ones I found were in front of the ranger station where I was hunting by. The third day I went to a pheasant club up north. These were released birds that is why you see the hens in the picture. Kinda cheating, but had a great time and it was great to go out with my dad, shoot my new gun and watch my dogs work. They both did great, a little out of shape though. Well, back to afghanistan and back to work. :hammer:
