Yeah I am southwest of Stewart. Season has been odd. Took the kids down south for the youth hunt and had great action. BWT, GWT, ringers and some gadwalls. Our season here though started real slow, most of our spots are not holding any water. The season picks up after the split though, hopefully some snow and colder weather will hit up north.

Yea that's what I'm hoping for too. Hope this year is better than last. See any mallards around? I shoot a lot of woodies on Stewart but nothing else. Never hunted the ponds though just the river

Can't blame you, too many people hunting down there.

Agreed. You hunt ponds or rivers mostly. Been looking in the marsh but not much there.

Ponds and some river hunting. The Altamaha near Jesup needs some rain. Really shallow all through that area.

Thats a tall order, well....deer hunters are using the river to slip in as well.

Should have specified duck hunters lol. Been trying to scout around and find em. I'm seeing tons of ring necks but not on huntable water.
