CAL WATERFOWL WOUNDED VETERAN DINNER

Postby 870dvldoc » Fri May 17, 2013 12:01 am

I usually post most stuff on the state forum, but am trying to reach out to a bigger audience. I wanted to let you guys know that we started a Cal Waterfowl Chapter on Camp Pendleton 2 seasons ago and this year we are going to be holding our 3rd annual dinner. This dinner is to raise money for Purple Heart recipients that we take out on duck hunts. We will help them cover the costs of getting their licenses, gear, etc. The past two seasons we were able to take out roughly 60 Marines and Sailors on 12 different hunts. That being said, we are holding our 3rd annual dinner on August 17th, in Vista, Ca (right outside Camp Pendleton). Cocktails start at 1730. We have auctions, give away a lot of prizes, and have the best prime rib in town. Check out our Facebook and if you have any question feel free to PM me.

Check out this video highlighting one of our wounded veteran hunts from 2012. The hunt was put on by CWA at Grizzly Ranch, and was funded by last year's Santa Margarita River Banquet. With your support, this year's banquet dinner will fund several more hunts in the 2013 season!
