15 1/2 years in this month, just one more enlistment left. I leave for Iraq in Feb and I get to be a detainee guard. Most of next season will be missed, so I'm trying to get in as much hunting as I can this year.

5 years as a bubble head....QM2(SS)....USS Georgia SSBN 729 Gold 1998-2003

In veterinary school at Kansas State University now. Taking care of sick animals and just getting into duck hunting.

I'll be back in NE for next season. Maybe we can swap a hunt or two. I'm sure school is taking up quite a bit of your time but you can always fit some hunting in. Once you have the "sickness" it's hard to stay away.

I did 6 years in the Army, they kept makeing us sing, GI beans ,GI gravy Gee I wished I joined the Navy So I did U.S.S. Fox for 8 years.

Got a medical from wounds suffered when I was in the Army 10 years before I joined the Navy. ,and then when I get close to retirement bamm. :mad:

when were you on the Fox? (and which Fox was it?)

MM2 here. '89-94.

stationed at NAS Moffett Field, CA as an MP and was aboard the USS FOX CG-33 when she decomissioned in '94.

Who...Us? Were around....Right where the beer is usually. Was an ET2(SS) Did 8 years on fast attacks...Wouldn't have done anything else...Did 3 deployments, shot missles in both Iraqi and Afghan freedom, and only made it out for gobblers once! Other than that, spent waaaaaaay too much time on watch...
